Numerical modelling of the selective withdrawal of saltwater at flushing sluices
The goal of my graduation assignment is to validate the use of CFD (using Star-CCM+) and Delft3D to quantify the effectiveness of selective withdrawal of saltwater at flushing sluices and to gain an increased understanding of modelling mixing in stratified flows, both in 2D(V) and 3D.
