Show Database Tables
The 'show Database Tables' function is designed to obtain a quick overview of the available data in the HYMOS database. HYMOS uses an ACCESS database with many different tables. There are tables for Series Characteristics, Station Characteristics, etc.., but also for all sorts of relations between the series or calculated from with series.
The layout of the 'show Database Tables' function is simple; there is a list box with table names, and a spreadsheet with the contents of the selected table.
The contents of the spreadsheet depends on the selected table, but also on the selection you made in the main window of HYMOS. The 'stations' table for example will only present the characteristics of the selected stations The 'All Stations' table will present all the stations of the database.
With the <Print> button it is possible to print the content of the spreadsheet. It is, however, also possible to copy the content of the spreadsheet to the Windows Clipboard by pressing <Ctrl-C>. This selection can then easily be pasted in other programs like Microsoft EXCEL.
Press <Close> to leave the function.
