DelftResultViewer, is a GIS based visualisation tool developed by Deltares (former Delft Hydraulics) aimed at easy dissemination of (potentially large quantities of) spatial coastal information.
It does so by projecting spatially specified information (erosion points, coastline positions, reference lines, zones etc.) on GIS maps. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is designed such that the user can easily step from coastal resort to coastal resort, from year to year, from parameter to parameter, etc.
Potential applications of DelftResultViewer focus on: projects that produce significant amounts of coastal data that need to be disseminated to coastal experts, practitioners, policy makers and local stakeholders.
