CLIWAT, Interreg IV-B, CLImate change in relation to WATer quantity and quality

In this project, we determine the physical impacts of climate change on groundwater and surface water systems in a part of the North Sea region. We focus on the topic of salt water intrusion. Tools and methods are presented that are used in the research to increase our knowledge of the present physical system in the coastal water system (via monitoring) and to assess the future changes (via modelling).
