Fro 1998 till 2010 the JONSMOD Organizing Committee consisted of:
Phil Dyke (Plymouth, United Kingdom, P.Dyke@plymouth.ac.uk)
Alan Davies (Liverpool, United Kingdom, amd@pol.ac.uk)
and active local organisers.
Since 2012 JONSMOD applies a rotating chairmanship. Pierre Garreau from IFREMER, Brest organized the JONSMOD2012 conference and will be chairman till the 2014 conference . In 2014, Patrick Luyten will take over the JONSMOD chairmanship.
