Introduction
The 'Shoreline' toolbox allows exporting of shoreline data applied in Dashboard. Delft Dashboard makes uses of the World Vector Shoreline (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency - NGA).The resolution of this dataset is about 500 m.
Usage of the toolbox
An shoreline file (.ldb) can be generate using the following steps:
- Define a polygon in which you would like to have shoreline. This is possible in two ways:
- “Draw Polygon” to select a polygon inside which extracting the shoreline. Double click to close the polygon.
- “Load Polygon” to load an existing polygon (“.pol”). “Export” to export the polygon in “.ldb” format.
- Define the scale
- Click on “Export” to export the polygon in a ldb-format
