Closed-loop calculations can be set in the globel properites. The parameter horizon steps is telling how much one calculation looks ahead in the future. It is measured in timesteps. Step size: how much I shift the starting point of the new calculation compared to the old one. It is also measured in time-steps. If the two values are the same, there is no overlap.
