h1. Introduction
The check on safety against liquefaction consists of passing through three phases, where the depth increases every time:
* Simple or Global check:
**check according to the recommandations of [CUR-113|GEO:Literature^CUR C130 Aanbevelingen.pdf]
* Global check according to VTV (i.e. step 1 till 5 of VTV-2006)
** Simple check according to CUR-113the [Technic Report for Liquefaction|GEO:Literature^Technisch Rapport Voorland Zettingsvloeiing.doc] of Deltares, based on the [VTV-2006|GEO:Literature^vtv2006.pdf]
* Detailed check, (as described in the report "Technische Rapport ...")[Technic Report for Liquefaction|GEO:Literature^Technisch Rapport Voorland Zettingsvloeiing.doc]
* Advanced check, (using theexisting programs existing program SLIQ2D)
of Deltares:
** SLIQ2D for liquefaction
** HMBreach/HMTurb for breaching |
