The discharge distribution between the Rijn branches can be further adjusted (see also Distribution between the Rhine branches). This adjustment is performed always on the top of the discharge distribution file ("Verdeelsleutel...xml"). This adjustment makes it possible for the user directly determine the discharge of the Nederrijn depending on the discharge of Lobith.  The following table in QWAST contains the options that are discussed here.

There are two blocks the user can select: lower regime and higher regime of Lobith. If none of them is selected, the discharge distribution remains the same. If the lower part of the table is activated (by ticking the box), then the discharges of the Nederrijn will be as given in the table. The default values in the table correspond the the discharge distribution "bodem2018". Therefore just activating it and using bodem2018 option does cause negligible changes. (Note: the changes come from the fact that this table gives one value for a range of 100m3/s, while the original definition is denser.) The reference values are constant in QWAST, if a different bodem_XX option is used, the displayed reference values are not correct any more! When new numbers are entered in the table, the discharge of the Nederrijn will be that value (Provided there is no water flowing throuh "Inlaat Betuwe". If yes, the discharge will be close to it. For further explanation read further). Say the user enters a value for the Nederrijn higher than the original value.  Where does the water coming form? This can be set in the modifier "Kosten en batenfractie".

This table says, that the extra water to the Nederrijn is coming 66% from the Waal and 34% from the IJssel. If the entered debit for the Nederrijn is less than the original value, then the first column of the table is used.
